Quality Control Microbiology - Allergen Lab Analyst

Description

This position resides within our Environmental Microbiology and Allergen Laboratory NightShift Team. The schedule is Monday through Friday during the night shift, with roughly one weekend (Saturday and Sunday day shift) coverage per month.

In this role the Analyst performs both site environmental Microbiology sampling and testing as well as environmental and finished product Allergen sampling and testing.  The samples are tested using a variety of Microbiological and Allergen methods including cultural, PCR, ELISA, and automate biochemical assays.  The Analyst coordinates test schedules, provides result communication, and participates in process improvements. They are also responsible for participation in all aspects of lab systems management and regulatory compliance. 

The successful applicant will join a strong team that will provide a supportive environment during orientation and training. This role offers a wide range of laboratory and Food Safety experience and development, and direct involvement in using this work to ensure Quality in the plant environment and finished product.
