ZSP Maintenance Supervisor Nights

Position Description and Responsibilities: 

Manages the maintenance function to provide dependable, reliable, safe, efficient equipment and machines for the manufacturing of all products in the manufacturing plant in compliance with FDA requirements. 

Develops best in class maintenance systems to assure a high level of support for the facility. Identifies and integrates best practices such as Continuous Improvement, Predictive and Autonomous Maintenance. 

Prioritizes activities, coordinates and schedules maintenance resources and provides leadership and direction to support manufacturing operations. 

Provides support for maintaining accurate and current fixed asset inventory listing for the equipment.  Also ensures complete and accurate information is entered into the CMMS system. 

Builds technical competencies within the maintenance team, identifying and selecting new maintenance team members that support developing technological needs. 

Leads the maintenance team by providing a clear vision, defining specific and timely objectives and using metric reporting to monitor team activities. 

Manages the development and administration of operating expense and capital spending budgets for the maintenance department. Demonstrated project management skills. 

Ability to communicate issues, goals and objectives effectively and manage competing request in a complex changing environment. 

Responsible for running the work schedule and payroll. 

Manages small maintenance driven projects. 

Drives a data driven Asset Health program to reduce downtime. 

Conduct bench marking studies to determine best practices for the maintenance department. 

2 year technical degree (electronics or engineering preferred); a 4 year technical degree is a plus or  

10+ years of maintenance experience / 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience for those without a degree.  

An understanding of maintenance best practices, safety, quality, cost, HACCP, GMP and regulatory compliance would be a plus.
