About the role

Lead Customer and Omnichannel relationships across ASEAN, Japan and Korea, based in the ASEAN Office. Reporting to the Regional eCommerce Director, ASEAN, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to drive online sales growth, aligned with the organization’s goals. You will be working closely with country teams, Head of eCommerce and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Be an active member of E-commerce team, demonstrating ‘growth hacking’ and ‘resourceful’ mindset 
  • Build long-term commercial strategy and drive performance on regional e-Commerce and Omnichannel customers across ASEAN, Japan and Korea (TikTok, Shopee, Lazada, Grab, Foodpanda etc.) 
  • Strengthen strategic partnerships with Regional customers, leading Joint Business Plannings (JBPs) and monthly business reviews to drive engagement and ensure our ambitions are aligned 
  • Lead, guide, and liaise with local market teams for execution of short-term & long-term e-commerce strategies and plans  
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of eCommerce initiatives and growth strategy 
  • Know how to apply eCommerce Traffic model to work back from sales target to identify traffic model variable; drive key levers to achieve those targets collaborating with other regional team members on a frequent basis. 
  • Take an analytical and evidence-led approach to Business Development; enhance Portfolio and Assortment strategy by channel; optimize Promo strategy through detail analysis.  
  • Monitor and report on competitor landscape, doing regular store checks and compiling one-page observation summary.
  • Scan market for new platforms, trends and customer opportunities.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of eCommerce business development experience, at a consumer brand 7-8+ years of total work experience. Ideally in both regional and country roles previously.  
  • Proven record of driving a successful business through sales or marketing with strong relationship management and negotiation skills. 
  • Strong ownership, hands-on and good at dealing with ambiguity in a start-up like environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence stakeholders of all levels
