About the role

Your responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts, including distribution, logistics & transport, manufacturing, marketing, and service agreements.
- Provide timely legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on various matters including intellectual property, data protection, corporate governance, and regulatory issues
- Support the marketing team by analysing product claims to ensure compliance with advertising regulations. Review promotional materials and marketing strategies for legal soundness, focusing on consumer rights and competition law
- Conduct legal research and analysis to assist in developing strategies, resolving disputes, and addressing potential risks.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of Reckitt’s global Ethics and Compliance Program roadmap within the Middle East region.
- Support the management of pre-litigation and litigation cases, including liaising with external counsel, and handling documentation and case strategy.
- Provide support in managing corporate secretary activities, ensuring compliance with legal and governance standards.
- Respond to competition authorities, handle competitor challenges, and coordinate with internal and external legal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Proactively enhance workflow and legal processes to improve efficiency and legal risk management within the business.
- Assist in controlling, coordinating, and tracking the legal budget and expenditures
- Monitor new regulations and develop legal awareness within the business teams. Conduct training sessions on relevant legal topics as needed.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor degree in Law (LL. B)
- Fluent in Arabic (written & spoken)
- UK / US Qualifications (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
- Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Minimum of 3-5 years of law firm experience is preferred
- Some GCC or regional experience
- Positive mind set and strong willingness to learn, demonstrating adaptability and enthusiasm for growth
