About the role
As the Production Planner for Midsized / Small ranges at Reckitt, your insights not only predict the pulse of our business but also shape it. Your skill in demand forecasting becomes the cornerstone of our production and supply planning; a critical element that influences our success. With every detail of sales or market changes, you adjust the sails of our operations. In this pivotal role, harmony between departments begins with you, as you embody the collaborative spirit that drives Reckitt forward.
Your responsibilities
• Evaluates non-emergency work requests, reviews/develops scope of work, and inspects job location to determine job requirements for both department and outside work for the facilities maintenance department.
• Estimates labor hours and skillsets along with procuring parts, materials, equipment, and special tools required to complete proactive jobs in a safe and efficient manner.
• Gathers relevant technical documentation such as drawings, schematics, specifications, spare parts lists from SAP, equipment OEM manuals, and project database. Verifies the availability of parts prior to scheduling the job. Arrange for special tools and auxiliary equipment when required.
• Maintains an organized and prioritized work order backlog to determine the next highest priority jobs to be planned next.
• Employs the continuous improvement process to update work orders or job plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Conducts weekly planning & scheduling meetings with facility supervisor and production to determine work order priorities, communicate work order status and alter planned maintenance activities if necessary, including review of notifications.
• Creates a daily/weekly technician schedule that includes priority planned jobs and preventative maintenance tasks that utilize 100% of the available technician labor hours.
• Improves work order planning and scheduling effectiveness through the review process and use of the maintenance metrics.
• Maintains records and files essential to meeting compliance obligations and reporting of maintenance related matters including fire protection, pressure vessels, backflow preventors, elevators, overhead cranes, powered industrial trucks, eyewash stations.
• Trains site employees on CMMS and ensures that it is working with integrity and is being utilized.
• Maintains an organized outage schedule and communicates urgency as required using a risk assessment approach.
• Assists in part sourcing for priority components.
• Assist in auditing SOP, JSA, PPE, and GMP documents to continuously improve the site.
• Coordinate scope of work, request for quotes, and enter purchase orders for department contractor work.
• Lead continuous improvement and oversite to third party contracts for the facility and utility systems.
The experience we're looking for
• Bachelor Degree preferred, Associate Degree required in a technical field with 3-5 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 – 10 years as a facility repair technician, or equivalent combination of both
• Experience in job plan development, job scheduling, and work execution in SAP or similar in respect to planning and CMMS data
• Project management and capital project experience strongly preferred
• Electrical/mechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

Salary Range
USD $37,000 - $80,000.00
Pay Transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
