About the role
The role is ideal for a high-calibre individual with the necessary skill set to manage hands on scientific and technical issues on a range of products and projects primarily focussed on a challenging and complex base business resiliency plan to sustain future growth, primarily, the Self-care product portfolio.
This diverse role is to collaborate with R&D product development teams, other R&D PDM teams, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply and Production groups to deliver “best in market” consumer solutions.
Role will be accountable for providing R&D support to a designated range of Reckitt products, enabling revenue protection, revenue growth and compliance of the brands
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for all R&D technical activities, compliance programme and supply resiliency projects on Selfcare brands
- Support Supply for manufacturing, procurement, or packaging projects, to implement effective technical solutions and solving issues in manufacturing process including safety & sustainability objectives/compliance.
- Responsibility for ensuring all required formulation, feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation is performed on time and to the required standards.
- Accountable for the delivery and execution of the project work as per the timelines
- Accountable for the KPIs / delivery of project milestones and stage gates
- Responsible for project management & budget management for the Technical projects, in addition responsible for Lab set up and equipment maintenance in all time audit ready state.
- Responsible for Formulation assessment for the Self-care portfolio.
- Responsible for the Regulatory submissions, variations and response of RTQs by generating the relevant documents through applicable platforms.
The experience we're looking for
- Minimum of a good degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry)
- Post graduate qualifications in further scientific disciplines would also be beneficial (i.e. PhD, or MSc, post-graduate diplomas (e.g. Pharmaceutical Quality by Design)
- Experience in project and stakeholder management
- Significant R&D experience with a proven track record of delivery.
- Experience of working in a Healthcare environment is desirable
- Working knowledge of CTD modules and regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record as a leader in planning, prioritization and implementing projects as well as identifying costs savings and problem solving
- Proven track record in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions
