The IT&D Manager – SAP PTD is a part of the SAP CC in the Major Programmes team, a team responsible for the delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI), medium-sized projects and Major Programmes. The team provides expertise in the Reckitt IT systems landscape and includes: Functional Experts; Technical Specialists; cross-business skilled Project Managers; Technical Project Managers; Business Analysts etc.. There are also Change/Comms specialists and a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to support delivery.

The IT&D Manager – SAP PTD will work as part of SAP PTD team, delivering functional solutions for PP/QM/PM modules. He/she should have 15+ years of experience in relevant area of work.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager, to support the improvement of processes and template standards for changes to SAP PTD area. The role is responsible for governing and enforcing these processes and standards during the lifecycle of SAP change projects, infrastructure & network changes, Major Programmes or continuous improvement activity. The resource also supports the Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) in the Functional Relationship Management team during business case stages. 

Template Management and Solution Delivery support

  • Provide solution and integration development including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment 
  • Design the SOP flow (standard operating procedures) where automation is not in place. Determine projects scope and provide functional/architectural inputs to achieve business requirements.
  • Clearly articulate integration best practices, design patterns, best practices, and recommendations to customer IT teams and business sponsors. 
  • Document integration best practices to share with the team.
  • Review Interface requirement documents, Technical design document and Data transformation Mapping sheets
  • Experience with supporting or delivering systems for business processes related to Production Planning and Quality Management.
  • Understanding of integration to Production planning and materials management modules is a must.Work with external configurators, developers and other subject matter experts.
  • Enforce development standards, change control processes, and adherence to the SAP global template.
  • Hands-on experience working with EDI, SAP Process Integration/ Process Orchestration interfaces, middleware knowledge and its integration with SAP ECC.Hands-on SAP configuration and technical skills to understand complex workflow requirements to develop detailed functional specifications is a must.

Education  And Experience

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience 


  • Preferable from a GIC setup or well versed with GIC ways of working
