About the role

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology and tangible business outcomes? Reckitt seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking IT & D Platform Manager to champion our digital platforms and the teams that make innovation possible. This is a critical and valued role in our IT & Digital team, providing strategic and technical leadership to enhance our platforms' scalability, security, and efficiency. Your vision will directly influence how our platform evolves, supporting Reckitt's continuous drive for a cleaner, healthier world.

Your responsibilities

You'd ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure resources to meet the needs of development, testing, and production environments.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate DevOps tools and technologies to support the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, configuration management tools, monitoring solutions, and collaboration platforms. You'd oversee the implementation and customization of these tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Establish governance policies, standards, and best practices for the DevOps platform, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements. You'd define access controls, permissions, and workflows to manage platform resources and configurations effectively.
  •  Identify opportunities to optimize DevOps processes and workflows, leveraging automation, standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies. This includes analysing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain processes for provisioning and managing development, testing, staging, and production environments. You'd automate environment setup, configuration, and teardown tasks to accelerate the software delivery lifecycle while maintaining consistency and reliability.

The experience we're looking for

  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure ADO, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and code collaboration platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
