Role

• Within R&D the Safety function makes sure the products we create are safe to use, both during development and once they are on the market. 
• Safety has the stated objective of becoming a world class Safety Department, in which the Digital Capabilities play a key role. 
• The  Senior Business Analyst (SBA) for Product Safety partners with our Vigilance and Risk Management team, which is responsible for pharmacovigilance, e.g. the management of Adverse Events. 
• The Senior Business Analyst (SBA) supports the Product Owner in realising the product strategy through incremental improvements to the product, designing business scenarios and use cases. 
• They partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document, and manage product requirements through workshops. 
• They collaborate with the Solution Vendor to elaborate product requirements and test whether they are satisfactorily fulfilled by a product release. 
• They motivate the vendor Team to understand Reckitt’s business needs and identify the best solutions for delivering customer value. 

Key Outputs / Deliverables

• Elaboration, analysis, documentation, and testing of product requirements (e.g., features, user stories)
• Grooming the backlog, providing clarity on priorities and benefits
• Design of business scenarios, process flows, and use cases to maximise product adoption / value
• Identification of relevant GxP validation, security and compliance requirements that need to be adhered to as part of product development

Key Interactions

• Independently liaise with the Business community to elaborate product requirements, and coordinates with product teams to build a release plan and backlog 
• Supports the Product Owner with the development and execution of the product strategy and roadmaps 
• Work closely with the wider Regulatory and Safety Product team to ensure releases are coordinated, and requirements assessed from an end-to-end process perspective
• Collaborate with the SaaS vendor to ensure Reckitt requirements are included in upcoming releases

Technical skills & qualifications

• 4 years’ experience in requirement gathering (e.g., features, user stories)
• Strong business domain knowledge and business acumen, familiar with IT standards and controls
• Abreast of latest technology trends and the opportunities / risks they present to the business domain
• Proven expertise in analysing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, information risk, security guidelines, and architecture standards
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation and management techniques
• Advanced user of requirements management tools, such as ADO

• Product utilisation and satisfaction rates, e.g., NPS, # of end users/ solution adoption, intensity of product usage
