About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Manager, Cloud Operations to lead our cloud infrastructure team and ensure the seamless operation of our cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale cloud environments. 

Responsibilities: 

Infrastructure Management: 

Oversee the operations of the company's cloud infrastructure. 

Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments. 

Team Leadership: 

Lead a team of cloud operations professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. 

Drive continuous skill development and knowledge enhancement within the team. 

Operational Excellence: 

Establish and enforce best practices for cloud operations, including monitoring, incident response, patching and system automation. 

Implement and optimize processes for performance monitoring, capacity planning, and cost management. 

ITIL Processes 

Ensure ITIL processes (Incident, change, problem management etc) are implemented and SOP are followed by the teams. 

Lead Major Incident calls 

Review and approve changes 

SLA Management 

Vendor Management: 

Manage relationships with cloud service providers, ensuring that the company receives maximum value from cloud investments. 

Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed decisions about cloud services. 

Security and Compliance: 

Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce robust security measures in the cloud environment. 

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 

Proven experience with 13+ years of relvant experience with 5+ years in a Senior MAnagement role overseeing cloud operations. 

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams. 

Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
