Senior Product Specialist - Ipoh

Role Summary

As a Senior Product Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving and exceed territory sales and marketing objectives through detailing, promotion, and distributions of Reckitt’s Ethical products via Hospitals and GP channels. 



•    Implement brand strategies at the responsible territories assigned that result in the achievement of set sales target and market share target.
•    Typically take charge of territory with mix of primary & secondary account, with annual IMS contribution. 
•    Accomplish goals within boundaries established by company policies and sound ethical practices (WHO code).
•    Exhibit excellence in identifying and exceeding customer expectations. Build and maintain 'win-win' partnership with key customers.
•    Manage resources of the assigned territories within budget given and adhering to company procedures.
•    Changes style and approach in response to differing circumstances. Maintain effectiveness over time to fundamental changes in environment.
•    Ensure KRAs are met or exceeded by team members and self.    
•    Create a highly motivated team environment that fosters superior performance.    
•    Develop and implement tactical plans with team members to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, via effective territory management system and brand/medical marketing plans.
•    Liaise with Medical Marketing Department in assessing and providing feedback of the effectiveness of the CME and CMP activities.    
•    Liaise with cross functional department to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of assigned tasks.    

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

•    Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, preferably in related field.
•    Good knowledge of medical sales force and internal operating systems, policies and procedures, including knowledge of Healthcare industry as well as Reckitt's products
•    Successful pharmaceutical sales experience for the assigned territory, with at least 3 years of working experience specializing in Sales – GP/ Hospital or equivalent.
•    Knowledgeable in OTC products will be an added advantage.
•    Excellent customer relationship (HCPs, Medical Societies, Hospitals etc..)
•    Successful experience in conducting presentation to internal and/or external customers and possess the ability to train internal and/or external customers on product and related sciences.    
•    Mastery of functional expertise and role.            
•    Knowledge of return of investment and maximizes profit for the company.     
•    Able to work independently and under fast-paced environment.
