As a SEO Specialist, one is responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings and increase online visibility for our brands. The preferred candidate will also be responsible for conducting website analysis, SEO audits and keyword research to identify opportunities for optimization. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing content to improve search engine rankings, managing SEO partner agencies, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and delivering timely KPI reports. 
The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the SEO and CPG landscape, the latest industry trends and search engine updates. The candidate must also be able to collaborate with brand teams to ensure SEO is both understood and successfully executed within the organisation. 
Although the role is centred around organic search, one is also be required to assist in writing and reviewing paid search ads with the agency and digital manager.

Ideal candidate must have:

At least 5 years of experience in SEO, preferably in a CPG or digital media agency environment.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimisation, technical SEO, and off-page optimisation.
Thorough understanding of internal and external link building strategies.
Experience with website analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush or similar tools.
Strong writing and proofing skills to create and review SEO-friendly content for brand websites.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have a strong business or entrepreneurial acumen and be comfortable interacting with and presenting at an executive level.
