About the role
Seeking a leader in innovation and efficiency, Reckitt is on the lookout for an Utilities Manager to take charge of our thriving, large-scale manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities
- Development and execution of the maintenance strategy and Plan
- All utilities site wide including and not limited to boilers & steam supply systems up to point of use, compressed air systems up to point of use, HVAC, all water plants, Coolings towers, Effluent treatment, generators, fire protection systems, Gas storage and systems in any capacity.
- All facilities within manufacturing including and not limited doors, lighting, roof structures (including DHL), change facilities.
- Lead the engineering function, ensuring all capital investment plan is effectively implemented.
- Manage capital investments meticulously, from initial concept to final delivery, aligning with budget and specification, achieving tangible benefits.
- Oversee project planning and execution, guaranteeing seamless handovers and satisfactory post-project evaluations.
- Foster continuous improvement within all aspects of your team, their systems, and operational delivery.
- Ensuring that maintenance cost and spend are managed according to policy, optimized in terms of opportunity
- Effective Contractor management to ensure SQRC compliance, negotiated costs & equipment availability including adherence of SLA
- Collaborate with the Site Management Team to realise the overarching vision for the production facility.
The experience we're looking for
- A formal bachelors engineering qualification in mechanical or Fitter.
- 5-6 yearsexperience in Utilities or maintenance department in a FMCG manufacturing plant
- Proven expertise in project and manufacturing management within a factory environment.
- At least 3 years Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire teams.
- GCC factory is a bonus
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards
- Demonstrable financial and commercial insight, adept at identifying business opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a background in stakeholder/ relationship management and collaboration.
