About the role

Responsible for leading the implementation of the global Reckitt Production System (RPS), the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager co-leads with the site director the manufacturing excellence program, responsible for enabling and monitoring the improvement of performance and therefore productivity.

This role is a key member of the lead team working under the Site Director, and collaborates across all levels and functions of the organization to drive capability building, adoption of proven ways of working based on TPM or WCM and achieve results progression year on year.

Your responsibilities

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze and enhance production systems and processes for continuous improvement, for example, optimize maintenance and production planning in collaboration with functional managers.
  • Enhance people capabilities in line with operational excellence.
  • TPM / WCM Initiatives: Leader of TPM / WCM pillars. Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on core principles of TPM / WCM / Lean.
  • Leader and facilitators of performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to reduce OEE losses (OEE), reduce waste, reduce energy consumption, reduce quality losses, increase productivity, reduce safety risks, etc.  


Capability building:

  • Coaching teams
  • Development of functional capabilities to achieve cross-functional objectives
  • Manage CI budget and monitor financial results.

 

Data Analysis: Collect, integrates and analyze production data, provides high visibility of KPIs, gap to target, performance trends, sporadic and chronic loses. Manage data integrity and operational metrics.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion. Define project scope and communicate updates to senior management.

Documentation & Compliance: Document process changes, ensure compliance with standards. Review and update SOPs.

Change Management: Develop strategies for RPS and productivity projects deployment. Lead change initiatives, aligning with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Engagement: Integrate lean principles with various departments. Train and support employees in continuous improvement.

Productivity Project Governance: Facilitate ideation events, monitor productivity projects. Update global productivity tracker.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • manufacturing experience, including functional manager responsibility
  • working in operations with a Manufacturing Excellence structured program, progressively expanding the systems and reaching higher levels of adoption, maturity and therefore results.
  • Experience with TPM/WCM strategy implementation
  • Expertise as trainer and coach of TPM / WCM methodologies and systems
  • leadership, change management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience implementing digital working systems.
  • TPM / WCM Instructor or similar, pillar leader, program manager, experience in statistical tools
