As a Process Excellence Senior Associate within GSA Operations & PMO, you will lead significant process improvement initiatives and ensure re-designed processes can be operated effectively and efficiently as business as usual. You will manage priority / cross functional initiatives from design stage onwards, building customer requirements and driving departmental efficiency.

… You know how to design and deliver process improvement initiatives, utilising best practice and working across subject matter experts to both drive improvement, standardisation and achieve stakeholder buy in and ownership to deliver and sustain. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage execution of process improvement initiatives, reporting the status of projects to Operations Management and Key Stakeholders
  • Data gathering and manipulation and able to pull multiple sources of data to understand performance of an E2E process
  • Scope process improvement initiatives and identify the resources (people and other) to achieve successful execution
  • Determine roles and responsibilities in temporary project teams and for ongoing operation
  • Execute complex process improvement initiatives with limited supervision and guidance and the ability to influence other functional teams without direct authority
  • Lead the facilitation of workshops and meetings, ensuring the right balance of engagement and pace
  • Utilise Lean, DMAIC and Six Sigma tools and methodologies to define activities that are aligned with business objectives. Promote use of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools
  • Design, document, implement and communicate new processes and procedures across GSA/Reckitt
  • Develop control plans and monitor performance and improvement in key metrics and deliver significant operational improvement
  • Assess change readiness and prepare plans for helping stakeholders through change

  • Understand Continuous Improvement & Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques and when they should be used, including ability to coach others
  • Synthesise large amount of information to quickly understand complex processes
  • Data, analysis and metric development/monitoring
  • Remove waste and automation of process steps
  • Project management including planning, benefits measurement and deployment considerations 
  • Influence, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Cross-functional leadership skills and ability to manage improvement through others 
  • Prioritise multiple simultaneous issues while retaining high attention to detail
