Your mission is to maintain our standards of safety and quality while marking a path for continuous improvement within our vibrant manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities

-The ability to make effective decisions on when to make adjustments to plant and equipment.

-Recommend and implement changes to machine operation and maintenance procedures.

-Recommend and deliver improvements to machine design.

-Develop constructive but challenging relationships within the team.

-Management of multiple concurrent priorities and issues.

-Ensure a balance of time is spent on improvement as well as firefighting or day to day tasks

-Ensure maintenance works planned to minimise impact on production operations and have no impact on customer service.

The experience we're looking for

-Apprentice trained in an engineering discipline, through a recognised accredited body or HNC/ BTECH 3/5 in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering.

-Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing systems.

-Must have experience in dealing with staff at all levels of expertise, with the ability to communicate skilfully with people at their level of understanding.

-Knowledge and application of UK regulatory standards.

-Knowledge and understanding of effective operation and maintenance of Site Services plant, equipment and systems, including HVAC , water systems, compressed air, boiler plant , utilities supply ,CMMS etc.
