Want to make an impact and have the freedom to succeed? Joining our R&D Year in Industry Lab Based Placement, you’ll have the freedom to gain hands-on experience with some of the world’s most leading consumer products and do just that! 


Working at Reckitt’s, state of the art £100m Science and Innovation Centre, this placement will give you a fantastic foundation of knowledge of Reckitt and a unique insight into the workings of a global FMCG company.
There are lots of opportunity to get stuck into different projects. You can expect hands on responsibility from day one. You will be working alongside highly experienced and knowledgeable industry experts, who will help you develop a whole range of new skills.

 

Your Placement will be laboratory based within our Research and Development function. We have multiple different placement opportunities available, including working within one of our Category Development teams working on new innovations for brands such as Strepsils, Nurofen, Airwick or Dettol. Or supporting with the development and expansion or our existing products, working within our Operations teams. We also have placement opportunities available within our Microbiology where you will work testing developments for multiple brands. We will discuss with you your preferences and the most suitable placement for your degree during your application.

 
You will succeed because…
You are studying any scientific degree, including but not limited to Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science, Microbiology, or natural sciences. You are looking for a 12-month placement starting in June 2024 - please note due to the nature of the roles these placements are not suitable for those studying engineering-based degrees.

The Assessments for this role will be split between Online and in Person during the month of November.
