Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:
- Take charge of a medium to large spend portfolio with full financial responsibility.
- Craft and execute regional and global procurement strategies, planning your yearly financial course.
- Reconcile the interests of diverse stakeholders, leading to harmonious and beneficial outcomes.
- Lead the management of currency risks and leverage opportunities.
- Delve deep into the intricacies of procurement, sourcing strategies, and complex legal contracts.
- Engage proactively with market dynamics to optimise sourcing timelines and extend contract life cycles.

The experience we're looking for

- Proven track record as an excellent negotiator with experience managing significant financial responsibilities.
- Accomplished in creating and implementing wide-reaching procurement strategies.
- Practiced in steering complex sourcing activities and high-level contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Adept at managing currency risks and recognising financial opportunities.
- Proficient in developing comprehensive knowledge of advanced procurement and sourcing tactics.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with Legal departments to ensure contracts are beneficial and secure.
- Experience in leading a team, including mentoring trainees and interns.
