Sales

Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. 

Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. 

We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

The Customer Marketing Manager plays a key role within the country sales team, driving excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers/key accounts. 
The role will focus on creating value for the customer and Reckitt by generating category growth ideas rooted in shopper, customer and consumer insight, building long term partnerships and increasing profit and sales.
Leads within the country the development and implementation of category management strategies. This will focus on increasing Reckitt’s in store presence in our categories, strengthening our brands, optimizing product assortment, and promotional strategy.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:
•    Develops country/customer 4P strategy and tactics in line with respective sales and marketing priorities, and building on global 4P strategy
•    Defines category trade marketing KPls 
•    Manages the trade marketing budget
•    Contributes to category marketing plans, with customers & category analysis and promotional strategy
•    Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer’s position in the country, works together with the sales director to develop long-term trade marketing actions and strategy aimed at strengthening RB’s position in the each of our categories
•    Develops and implements Reckitt promotional strategy (in line with brand priorities and media plans) across customers
•    Presenting category strategies/vision and 4P strategy to our customers
•    Key contact for the marketing team with regards to all promotional and customer activity

The experience we're looking for

  • Educated to minimum a bachelor degree level in a business related subject
  • English – High level
  • Minimum 4 years FMCG experience in Sales/Trade Marketing/Marketing and Key Account Management
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
