About the role

Step into the world of Reckitt as our Planning and Logistics Manager, where every day presents a new challenge that influences our global supply chain. Your expertise will be the compass that guides our site's planning and logistics functions, ensuring our customers receive superior service while keeping a close eye on costs. You'll champion a customer-oriented culture and be an integral part of the Site Leadership Team, plotting the future of our factory and nurturing the growth of our operations.

Your responsibilities

- Foster a consistent approach to planning and logistics across the site, mitigating service risks along the supply chain.
- Spearhead project transfers and ensure the smooth onboarding of new product developments, collaborating with internal departments and external partners.
- Strive for Distribution Centre stock level optimisation in tandem with our customer logistics team.
- Be the custodian of safety within the Planning & Logistics domain, staying abreast of legislative and safety matters pertaining to transport.
- Command the planning and logistics budget of the factory, ensuring financial diligence.
- Develop and maintain fruitful relationships with a range of stakeholders and drive an 'world-class' inventory management programme that achieves excellent turnover and net working capital processes.

The experience we're looking for

- A solid background in Planning / Supply Chain within a managerial role, equipped with people management and budget oversight capabilities.
- Innovative and adept at problem-solving, with a proven track record of tackling challenges head-on.
- Analytical prowess, with the ability to decipher figures for investigative and problem-solving activities.
- Financial and commercial insight with a thorough grasp of business implications and opportunities.
- A history of thriving in action-oriented environments, possessing a results-driven mindset when encountering obstacles.
- Experience within the supply chain from end-to-end or within an engineering discipline will be vital.
- Leadership qualities that emphasise resource management, project direction, and team motivation.
