Marketing
The eRB function is the eCommerce and digital execution engine of Reckitt. We help create a healthier, cleaner world by building shared success with our consumers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible through online channels.
Within eRB we're focused on accelerating the performance and purpose of Reckitt brands to empower a bigger, faster and bolder eCommerce and digital business. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
Reckitt has around 800 eCommerce people across the world. In-market roles cover areas such as online Key Accounts and Performance Marketing, regional roles work with the markets to provide specialist expertise to accelerate online growth, and our global teams cover areas such as Amazon, EB2B and Direct to Consumer.
About the role
This position is responsible for the development of assigned brands through the achievement of specific growth objectives. The position resides within the US Marketing function and will assume support for the Brand Manager for assigned brands within the category in Equity, Activation or Innovation capacities. The Associate Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy, and is expected to drive the growth of his/her assigned brands through excellent marketing execution.
Your responsibilities
-To manage a brand within the context of the agreed strategies to maximize long term sales and profitability.
-Support the brand manager to develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget.
-To contribute to the development of category strategies.
-Monitor the marketing budget and develop product forecasts.
-Analyze brands and market trends and recommend actions to be taken.
-Contributing to RB Innovation by delivering a product development program to generate consistent sales and profit growth
-Assist the senior brand manager/marketing director to develop, recommend and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy and plans.
-To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth. Develop these insights into achievable plans.
-Participate in the development of local copy strategy / executions and/or to ensure adaptation possible for other regions.
-In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs / opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands.
-Facilitate speed to market of products, programs and services.
The experience we're looking for
-Degree educated, MBA a plus
-Min. 2-3 years’ experience in brand
-Career in leading CPG company a plus
-Financially and commercially astute
