Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
The Associate Category Manager is to assist in the execution of the 4P category strategy to deliver solutions that drive retailer category growth. A key measure of success is the development of a long-term category partnership with the retailer with demonstrable customer knowledge. The Associate Category Manager is responsible for translating & executing globally defined tactics which are mutually beneficial to Reckitt & the customer’s category performance. Primary focus is on presence and placement working in partnership with sales and drawing insight and input from Trade Marketing & Consumer Marketing (including Shopper Insights).
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
- Assist in delivering effective 4P execution based on Local Success Models (LSM) and an understanding of customers, categories and consumers to maximize profitability.
- Customize 4P strategies and plans to align with and support the retailer’s category strategy
- Conduct analysis of specific customer initiatives and share back key insights to Trade Marketing & the relevant NAM(s).
- Work in partnership with Shopper Marketing to undertake bespoke account research
- Contribute to NPD meetings by representing the customer’s viewpoint to improve the effectiveness and applicability of the final go to market strategy.
- Assist in the line review process with the customer
- Manage elements of contribution to P&L
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years' experience in FMCG preferably. Experience at a national retailer acceptable.
- Experience working in support of the following customers: Target, HEB, Publix preferred.
- Proven track record of building and influencing relationships with key internal and customer decision makers.
- Proven analytical skills & ability to successfully integrate different streams of information into sound propositions
- Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI, Spectra, Panel Data, A&Us)
- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, Nielsen/IRI)
- Highly proactive with strong time management & organizational skills

US salary ranges
USD $102,000.00 - $152,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
