About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. You will manage the transportation and delivery of products, ensuring that they reach their destination on time and in good condition. You will work with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to coordinate shipping schedules and track inventory levels. You will also develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Managing operations with selected carriers and planning and monitoring outgoing deliveries, ensuring maximum level of customer service at optimum cost
• Enabling cross functional collaboration between Supply teams: logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service and Sales Teams.
• Overview 3PL organizing and process shipments.
• Responding to any issues or complaints.
• Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
• Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
• Evaluating budgets and expenditures.
• Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
• Cooperate with customers to optimize logistics operations
• Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related subject
• 3+ years of experience in managing complex customers with supply experience within FMCG
• Fluent in Czech and English
• Advanced Excel skills, strong understanding of systems such as SAP, ERP, MRP 
• Passion for achievement, integrity and drive with proven record in making things happen
• Strong analytical and creative thinking
• Proven team player
• Self-starter who can challenge the status quo across different levels
