About the role

 

As a Senior Brand Manager you’ll have the opportunity to drive the growth of our brands in long-term through setting a strategy resonating to consumer needs and tensions, and in current period through excellent marketing execution.

You will be given extensive and diverse responsibilities across the full marketing mix and will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy.

Marketing at Reckitt Benckiser is challenging and rewarding, based on consumer insights and strong innovations.  It is also a proven discipline and has developed senior leaders across the business.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with Trade Marketing, Regulatory, Sales and other departments to develop and execute successful Brand Plans to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and profit targets.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy / plans for a given brand within a category, responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the plan.
  • Monitor market performance on a regular basis, responsible for successful implementation of Brand plans as per business review and Business plan
  • In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing and Sales function, identify trade needs / opportunities, use them as a fuel for ongoing Brand Strategy and Plans improvements.
  • Very close co-operation with Global Marketing and Regional Marketing teams to align on future launches and brand campaigns as well as effectively source inputs and insights which are then transformed into actionable Brand Plans and campaigns.
  • Execute product launches agreed by Area/Region; Contribute to innovation by delivering product development programs to further margin growth.
  • Lead dedicated Regional marketing projects related to portfolio, assets or other focus areas.
  • Implement portfolio strategy in conjunction with global category and area innovation to support overall business strategy, short / medium term; cocreate the media strategy and plans and implement them
  • Accountable for marketing budget on assigned brands.
  • Implement relevant market copy strategy for brand according to the market specifics and needs, adjust if needed.
  • Partners with media / consumer and market insights to implement media strategy and plans, as well as external agencies and partners.
  • Successfully manage a reportee role of Junior Brand manager to ensure effective cooperation and delivery of Brand Marketing responsibilities as a team.

The experience we're looking for

 

  • Min. 3 years experience in FMCG market
  • Consistent track records of results and career steps
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong Presentation skills (ppt)
  • Educated to minimum bachelors degree level in a business related subject - from a recognised University
  • Strong commercial awareness and driveStrong analytical and financial skills, able to work in detail on the company P&L
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Czech/Slovak and English language skills
