About the role
Be a key person to the maintenance of an efficient tax reporting and analysis system to generate timely,
accurate, and reliable information and to provide high quality business and tax management analysis for the China Management’s decision making.

Your responsibilities
Business Management Activities:
1. Build up and maintain a good relationship with the commercial function departments internally as business
partner and raise challenges as part of the broad finance team to strike the balance of business decisions.
2. Tax compliance management, deferred tax and group tax reporting for a Beijing and a Shanghai company respectively.
3. Review of the tax reporting of other GC companies and provision of the technical supports on a needed basis.
4. Review of TP setting for other China entities, ensure the statutory profits are in line with the profile in the value chain.
5. Independently lead the tax projects, including:
- Tax supports on M&A and other transformations.
- Initiatives to manage the tax efficiency of GC entities
- Treaty treatment applications on dividend and capital gains
- Overview of cross-border service agreements between related parties and recommend on application of the tax exemption and filings if applicable.
- Quarterly and annual tax reporting to the Headquarters
- Tax health check for the latest three years and get ready for the potential tax audits
6. Study and research on the national and local tax policy developments and trends, sustain a good working relationship, and proactively participate to the state and local tax legislations from a business perspective and share the knowledge with the local finance teams
7. To support the local Finance team on tax audit cases or any challenges conducted by the local tax collection authorities, e.g., VAT, CIT, IIT and CD and provide comments on defense strategies
8. Routine tax summary for China entities.
The experience we're looking for
Education and qualification:
• University Degree in Tax/Accounting /Economics
• A member of CICPA or CTA will be a plus
Experience:
• 8-10 year tax experiences in MNCs
• The firm experience is a must
