This is a strategic and challenging role deploying technologically driven Commercial and Supply Services Controlling processes in SAP ERP system whilst working with various local business units and ensuring compliance with globally defined processes.

 

You'll be working alongside, Global Process Owners, Super Users, other functional SAP BPO’s and Solution Architects to enable successful deployments of the Global Template. whilst supporting country project teams with functional expertise of processes in scope of transition by supporting in business change assessment, testing and go-live, enabling a clear and error proof deployment.

 

You'll be responsible for the end to end controlling processes in scope of commercial and local front/back-office teams operating on Turbo SAP Global Template and will have responsibility across all Reckitt business units

  • Commercial Product Costing
  • Embellishment Finance
  • Decomposition Process
  • Commercial Cost Centre Accounting
  • Group Reporting including Brand, Category and Business Unit
  • Profitability Analysis
  • Freight In and Out
  • Allocations
  • Commercial Variances
  • Cooperation with other E2E Processes where there is an impact on Commercial Controlling
  • Global Hub Operations (incl. Management Transformation)

   

Accountabilities:

 

  • Structure, present and facilitate business change assessment workshops to identify country variances to the global operating model
  • Ensure financial and operational controls are in place and embedded in the process
  • Responsible to review, challenge and escalate change for approval as required
  • Attend and lead Change Control POD’s meetings
  • Review local process variations to standard model in alignment with principles defined by the Global Process Owners (GPO) / controllership
  • To minimise the number of ‘local’ process exceptions,
  • To drive change management activities required by global finance initiatives,
  • Provide process expertise to project teams re process in scope
  • On-going knowledge transfer into markets (commercial) 
  • Point of escalation for any process related change request from deployment teams
  • Write, review and sign off process documentation & SOP’s including country localisations
  • Work with operating model & controls teams to ensure early identification of country variances to standard processes 
  • Work with country teams to drive the implementation of pre-requisites and alignment to operating model

 

 

Key Challenges:

 

  • Define and deploy global processes across the range of Controlling to SAP markets
  • To develop processes that can match business requirements whilst at the same time delivering standard and consolidated benefits of a global process,
  • Multiple system landscape and fragmented processes
  • Multiple country deployment happening concurrently
  • Stabilisation of live entities

 

Qualification and experience:

 

  • Experience of working in a complex, Matrix organisation with a global scope. FMCG experience desirable but not essential 
  • Previous business/finance experience, 5 + years
  • Demonstrable knowledge understanding of End to End Controlling processes
  • Demonstrable ability to engage and manage different level stakeholders and multicultural audience/s through superior communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with and manage conflict
  • Positive & can-do attitude, good team player
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multi-layered project/s with inter-dependencies
  • Project Management, Six Sigma qualifications desirable but not essential 
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA desirable but not essential (End User or Super User Level)
