The Portfolio Manager role within the Supply IT team offers an exciting opportunity to push boundaries and have a big impact, at a global scale, by supporting one of the most critical organisations within Reckitt. The incumbent will work across all the value streams in the Supply IT&D portfolio and will be a key contributor to unlock the full potential of our digital investments supporting Reckitt brands across the globe. 

 

You Will ...

• Lead product portfolio data capture, performance analysis and recommend optimisation opportunities including management of value vs investment
• Support efficient portfolio management and forecasting/ planning exercises for the whole of Supply IT
• Lead and support a lean portfolio governance model including Strategic Portfolio Reviews. 
• Oversees the governance processes, incident management, external sourcing and the continuous improvement of Products and Platforms in Supply IT (within a DevOps Model) 
• Support the annual planning and forecasting exercises for Supply IT - Annual Plan, Quarterly Forecasts
• Act as an Agile coach for the product teams within the portfolio; helping to embed a product driven mindset
• Working closely with our data, analytics, and tech organisations, providing DevOps management discipline and accountability

• Highly skilled in IT portfolio management
• Organized, highly analytical and a problem-solver with high attention to detail
• Skilled in Lean budgeting processes
• Ability to support contract management processes across multiple vendors
• Are a exceptional communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Are able to coordinate with various vendors and internal tech teams
• Ability to explain and communicate a complex, multi-year strategic initiative and roadmap through a simple narrative, easy to understand for non-technical audiences

 

Professional experience: 
• experience in a complex IT programme and / or portfolio environment
• Experience of a DevOps / Agile Environment
• Experience in SAFe as a methodology 
• Very strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills
• Capable of working independently
• Capable of translating often complex technical issues into clear, intelligible descriptions.
• DevOps framework understanding and hands on experience (that can be demonstrated via examples) 
• Experience of the FMCG, Pharma or Retail industry would be an advantage
