Your responsibilities


The Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer, reporting to the CI Manager, plays a critical role in implementing and supporting Productivity and Improvements within the manufacturing environment. This position focuses on enhancing production efficiency, quality, and overall operational improvement. The CI Engineer collaborates with various organizational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The experience we're looking for

1. Process Improvement: 
Assist in analyzing production processes to identify improvement opportunities. 
Support the implementation of strategies to optimize efficiency and quality. 
Work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects. 
 
2. Data Analysis: 
Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify trends and inefficiencies. 
Use statistical tools to interpret data and support decision-making. 
Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs and metrics. 
 
3. Lean Six Sigma Support: 
Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects, focusing on process optimization. 
Assist in training production staff in lean principles and tools. 
Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
 
4. Project Support: 
Support project management, ensuring timely and effective execution. 
Assist in defining project scope and collaborating with stakeholders. 
Help communicate project progress and outcomes to the CI Manager and senior management. 
 
5. Documentation & Compliance: 
Assist in documenting changes to production processes. 
Help ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. 
Support the review and update of SOPs as necessary. 
 
6. Change Management Support: 
Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies. 
Support change initiatives in alignment with organizational goals. 
 
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: 
Work closely with various departments to integrate lean principles. 
Engage in training and supporting staff in continuous improvement practices. 
Manage regular reviews of project status with Project Sponsors and Site Director 
 
8. Productivity Project Assistance: 
Participate in ideation events and monitor productivity projects. 
 
9. Data Management 
Support operations to maintain their production data collection tools as needed 
 
Additional Responsibilities: 
- Support the CI Manager in implementing creative strategies across RPS Standards. 
- Contribute to mentoring and collaboration within CI project teams. 
- Assist in data management and operational metrics analysis. 
- Support efforts to improve OEE and production planning. 
- Contribute to people capability development in alignment with operational excellence goals.

Salary ranges

USD $66,000.00  -  $102,000.00

Pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
