About the role

The HH Operator position will work 12 hour days, 6AM – 6PM on a rotating schedule that includes working every other weekend.

 

The role of the HH Operator is to provide both the technical and operational skills needed to deliver world class Thermoformed Capsules by Operating State of art production equipment. You will be operating and maintaining capsule production and delivery equipment as well as assure top quality of our product by carrying out quality inspections with safety as top priority.

Your responsibilities

  • Able to read, understand, and adjust equipment settings.
  • Troubleshoot, replace, set up, and maintain production equipment.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules and policies, including PPE, HAZCOM, Process Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, and Emergency Action.
  • Complete regular documented safety audits and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality Control Plan and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Follow waste, scrap reduction, and recycling guidelines.
  • Achieve required OEE levels on assigned HH Line(s) and perform Statistical Process Control Charting with appropriate corrective actions.
  • Train new operators and temps, work effectively in a team-based environment, and communicate via email in a timely manner.

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, machine operating, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and problem-solving aptitude through standardized tests.
  • Experience operating HH Line equipment, including startup, clearing jams, manual operations, and shutdown.
  • Experience with changeovers, washouts, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
  • Proficient in data entry and reporting using computers.
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-high school technical education preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; technical, mechanical, and/or electrical experience with operating line equipment and small tools is desired.
