The St Peters, MO., factory and warehouse provides employment for nearly 600 local employees and manufactures our power brands, Lysol and Finish. Lysol is a leading disinfectant brand in the US with more than 50% of households using Lysol products and families have trusted the brand to help keep their homes protected for over 100 years. Hospitals across the US also use Lysol to satisfy their cleaning and disinfecting needs.

Your responsibilities

- Spearhead the development and execution of manufacturing processes to meet the highest quality standards.
- Manage and inspire a large-scale workforce, ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently. 
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met. 
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. 
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste. 
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., supply chain, quality control) to ensure seamless operations. 
- Conduct comprehensive supplier audits to uphold Reckitt's exacting standards while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Drive collaboration with engineers on equipment design and process improvements for enhanced manufacturing efficiency.
- Align production with market demand through close coordination with marketing personnel.
- Cultivate a safe and productive workplace through the development and execution of safety protocols and employee training. 
- Develop and manage the site’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. 
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible. 
- Prepare financial reports and present them to senior management. 
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team. 
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. 

The experience we're looking for

- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale (minimum 250+ employees, ideally 350+) manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of developing strong teams.
- A history of delivering results through creative problem-solving and an unyielding commitment to excellence and integrity.
- Proficient in supply chain and productivity management, capable of driving business process improvements.
- Advanced understanding of data and analytics to support manufacturing excellence.
- Exceptional relationship management skills, fostering effective business partnerships that drive Reckitt's ambitious goals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance. 
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools, such as ERP systems, CAD software, and production planning tools.

- Lean Manufacturing: Expertise in lean manufacturing techniques, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Change Management: Ability to lead and manage change initiatives effectively. 
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and procurement processes. 
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact. 
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 

Working Conditions

Note that this position is based at the manufacturing site and is not suitable for remote working.
