About the role

Role Purpose:

To lead a multi-disciplined manufacturing maintenance team to ensure delivery of functional Key Performance Indicators which contribute to the Supply function meeting its customer service. quality, safety, and cost targets.

To ensure that Maintenance team embraces the Reckitt culture and consistently demonstrate this through their application of the core values.

 

Scope:

Be responsible for all manufacturing maintenance activities on the site, including production lines, instruments.

  • Direct reports of Maintenance supervisor an indirect maintenance team of circa 20 Technician.
  • Ensure that all items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standard to ensure that their performance is safe, reliable and in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) whilst at the same time continually improving performance, plant systems to support the development of the Manufacturing Facilities and contributing to the Supply function meeting its business objectives.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate resources, assets and time are available for the application to maintenance which uses performance indicators to routinely deliver targets and drive performance improvement.
  • All items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standards to ensure their performance is safe, reliable and in accordance with the principles of CGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice).
  • Monitor operational efficiency of all plant and equipment, identifying areas of under-performance or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement.
  • Monitor plant reliability and capability to identify areas of issue or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of communication at all levels.
  • Establish and improve maintenance management systems and procedures to meet all appropriate needs.
  • Ensure weekly maintenance review and planning meetings are routinely occurring and effective.
  • Ensure that a uniform approach to maintenance issues is maintained across the site and shifts.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Either degree in Engineering or related subject with 3-5 years’ experience in engineering/maintenance experience role with 3-5 years engineering management experience.
  • Above 5 years’ experience in a FMCG operation, preferably in a " high care " environment such as pharmaceutical, healthcare or food.
  • Knowledge and application of ISO14001, OHSAS18001 ISO9001 standards.
