EHS Specialist

Description

The Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator will oversee EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) assessments and audits as well as resolution and follow-up of corrective actions identified during assessments.  The EHS Coordinator will manage all aspects related to RB (Reckitt Benckiser) EHS and local (e.g.: OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration)) standards and provide support to the site in terms of equipment installation and set up to assist in design for safety, health, ergonomic and environmental principles.

You'll be responsible for:
•    Implementing EHS standards
•    Creating training materials to support EHS programs and promoting employee awareness
•    Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS performance measurements including audits and metrics
•    Providing technical assistance to teams
•    Participating in internal and external working groups, committees, and conferences related to EHS
•    Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners
•    Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to EHS standards
•    Developing and managing an accident and injury investigation program

You’ll succeed because you have… 
•    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemicals, or related field; or 4+ years of EHS related experience
•    Basic understanding of project management
•    Engineering background is considered a plus
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
