About the role

As part of Reckitt’s global IT&D transformation that we started in 2023, we're are looking for an accomplished Senior Azure Platform Manager with a deep understanding of Azure cloud services and a proven track record of leading successful platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure-based platform to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

Your responsibilities

 

 

  • Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for platform engineering on the Azure cloud.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement Azure-centric solutions that enhance the overall platform architecture.
  • Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on best practices, technical standards, and professional development for the team.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Implement and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for efficient and automated deployment processes.
  • Implement and optimize platform engineering processes to enhance scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues.
  • Work closely with the security team to implement and enforce security measures in Azure environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to Azure platform services.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a managerial role overseeing platform engineering on Azure.
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure components.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in Azure environments.
  • Keen understanding of digital strategy, product solution architecture, and cyber security.
  • Ability to analyse data governance and product compliance, with a focus on delivering tangible market value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
