The vision of the Connected Planning team is to be an effective enabler to delivery of sustainable best in class service levels, with optimum inventory and cost management. This is achieved through development and deployment of efficient tools and processes, clear and transparent communication, and cross functional collaboration and alignment with our Compass at the heart of everything we do.
As a Connected Planner, your interpersonal skills will be as critical as much as your technical skills as you collaborate across markets, factories, copackers etc. You will make sure that all the supply functions are working seamlessly towards an agreed supply plan and will be accountable for it to be delivered
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the short-, mid- and long-term supply plan for the category, including internal and external manufacturing
- Working with Site Planning Leads globally to ensure continuity of supply and maximize service to market
- Chair supply reviewing for the respective category
- Working with market Demand Planners to ensure that there is right forecast enrichment done which reflects the latest demand
- Providing governance around demand & supply balancing with a holistic, un-biased viewpoint managing all stakeholders
- Leading and streamlining the communication between markets and sites. You will become the voice of the Region as Connected Planner
- Proactively managing the service to the markets and management of the mid-term horizon
- Ensuring the best visibility of service level projections for markets
- Setting up inventory targets and manage their execution
- Scenario planning: conducting ad-hoc cost/ benefit analysis on various options to balance supply and demand, to be presented to category / regional leadership and in various forums
- Working closely with Manufacturing and Demand Planning teams to optimize the end-to-end supply chain in terms of cost, efficiency, go-to-market lead time reduction
- Monitoring and consolidating Obsoletes/Provisioned items across markets to align clearance strategies with Obsoletes Hub and assure full clearance.
Our requirements:
- Solid knowledge of end to end supply chain processes(connecting Demand, Supply and S&OP), ability to understand and explain complex issues/datasets & to propose solutions
- 3-4 years of demand/supply planning experience
- Ability to challenge constructively and confidently
- Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers
- Good understanding of ERP/Supply & demand planning software(SAP ECC/APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, JD Edwards)
- Good understanding of sales forecasting process and its challenges
- Fluent spoken & written English
- Desired skills: presentation, communication, influencing & stakeholder management
