About the role

Your responsibilities

  • Be the Salesforce Platform Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor for Product Teams.
  • Deliver inputs to the product roadmaps by utilising knowledge of existing and upcoming Salesforce platform capabilities, Salesforce product offering, ISV/AppExchange offerings, security standards, and integration patterns.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services.
  • Define and align the governance, procedures, guidelines & standards for products on the Salesforce platform with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
  • Work across various existing technologies and leverage your experience, as well as emerging technologies to qualify, define, and design cost-effective and performant solutions.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with Salesforce, with at least 2 years in Tech Lead and/or Technical/Solution Architect roles
  • Experience of working with core Salesforce Clouds – Sales, Service, Experience, Commerce.
  • You can clearly articulate pros and cons of tackling requirements declaratively vs programmatically.
  • Exceptionally good understanding of the Salesforce licensing model
  • Salesforce Certifications​ – core Clouds, Application Architect and/or System Architect Preferred.
  • Development background – you are fluent in Apex, LWC/Aura, SOQL and you comfortable performing code reviews, you know what OAuth Flows, Governor Limits, LDVs, Shield, Platform Events, CDCs, and Connected Apps.
  • You are familiar with/have set up CI/CD (multi-org organisations a plus) and have worked with branching strategy, pipeline setup, test automation, as well as package-based development.
  • Architecture frameworks and software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe)​ experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
