Reckitt has a Data and Analytics (D&A) focused on leveraging core information assets to better equip markets to improve their decisions and optimize their actions using     improved data, insights and advanced analytics The D&A team consists of five (5) key areas of expertise: Engineering, Visualization, Strategy and Operations, Platform and Governance

Engineering team focuses on identifying, creating, deploying, modelling, and syndication of the various data across the Enterprise Platform. The team is responsible for bringing the harmonization and removing data duplication across Enterprise Data Platform. As Data Model Lead you will be working closely with data architects and data analysts to implement data modelling solutions to streamline and support enterprise information management. (TRINITY).
To ensure success you should have in-depth knowledge of data layers like warehousing, as well as expert communication skills. Data modeler should be able to design models that reduce data redundancy, streamline data movements, and improve enterprise information management. 

You will:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
• Certification from one of the Big Data vendors – Microsoft, Cloudera, Hortonworks, IBM, Databricks, Teradata preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience as Data and Application platform, with proven experience in delivering large scale SaaS/PaaS/API/Microservice based applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data architecture computer systems, including SQL
• Knowledge of ER modelling, big data, enterprise data, and physical data models
• Familiarity with data modelling software such as SAP Power Designer, Microsoft Visio, or erwin Data Modeler
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The role will be based in Poland. Note that the incumbent in the position can expect periodic travel to Hyderabad (India), Slough & Hull (UK) to connect with key stakeholders.

• Data modelling stream in the Data Engineering chapter.
• Work with the business intelligence team to gather requirements for the database design and model.
• Understand the data needs of the company and\or Product streams, including data migration needs.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and build the database models needed for Data Engineering.
• Engage the development team to implement the database.
• Determine the business needs for data reporting requirements.
• Adjust access to the data and the reports as needed.
• Work closely with the development team to implement data warehouse and reporting, including any needed data migration.
• Work with data scientists to determine metadata querying requirements and get them implemented.
• Help determine and manage data cleaning requirements.
• Help determine data security needs and implement security solutions.
