This role forms part of the Global Integration team under Global Platforms Organization of Reckitt.
RECKITT’s vision is to have a “Unified Integration” approach, connecting the RECKITT global IT landscape to ensure data democratization through secure, quick, re-usable & quality integrations and work towards “integration as a service” model (INTaaS). This approach would enable data knowledge residing in any part of the RECKITT IT landscape to be readily available to any user (with the required authentication) to transform with other data, business logic or consume directly to create an impact.


This role, IT&D Senior Platform Manager- Customer and 3rd Party Integration, reports to the IT Director – Global Integrations. This role will have 3 direct reports to start with in the team consisting of Platform Architect and Platform Engineers, can grow based on future roadmap. This role will help to grow integrations as strategic assets and evolve from the siloed approach to a reusability driven, productized, catalogue based, pay-per-use offering.

You will…

  • drive Reckitt standards for integration technology and ensures that adherence to our standards by team members and SI partners while delivering APIs for IT&D Product teams. 
  • design and develop integration solutions using Mule ESB and associated technologies. 
  • communicate detailed technical information in both written and verbal form across a wide range of audiences, including business stakeholders, users, developers, and senior management. 
  • develop a sound understanding of existing systems and processes, their strengths and limitations, and the current and future needs of the environment in which they exist.
  • provides vision on how they may be improved and developed. 
  • understand and explains the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluates the impact of changes or additions to the environment. 
  • act as an escalation point for the integration team members and provides hands on expertise. 
  • apply strong analysis, research, and problem-solving skills across a wide array of systems and situations, including those which may be unfamiliar, to address critical issues

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Must have strong experience on various Mule connectors, adapters, developing API, API management using Mule and developing services on CloudHub or any other Middleware platform: SaaS, PaaS.
  • Must have strong knowledge of SOA and ESB and must have experience on at least one large scale ESB implementation:
    • Good oral and written communication is mandatory
    • Transformation using DataWeave and Exception Handling Strategies
    • MuleSoft Certified Platform,Integration Architect preferred. (More preference for Mule 4 certification)
  • Overall, min 15 Years of experience in MuleSoft, ERP Integration, Java and Minimum of 2 years ofScrum/ Agile & DevOps related exposure to:
    • Version control systems such as SVN, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Bitbucket
    • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven
  • Strong concepts of typical Integrations & API solutions, principles, best practices; must have good analytical, solutioning and effort estimation capabilities.
  • Good understanding of typical integration technologies such as HTTP, XML/XSLT, JMS, JDBC, REST, SOAP, Web-Services and APIs. Good understanding of data formats such as XML, CSV, EDI and JSON.

 

Technical / professional qualifications required:  

  • B.S. / B.E./B. Tech. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred.
  • MuleSoft certification highly desirable (4.x).
  • Any demonstrable experience in cross training team members will be an added advantage.
