About the role
The Supply and NPD Planner (supply planning specialist) is a specialist level role. The main purpose of this position is to assure product availability in the market and supervision of NPD / EPD deployment.
Your responsibilities
Service Management – maintaining Service Levels on agreed Levels
• Inventory Management – assure stock levels within agreed coverage
• Adherence to best practice and continuous improvement
• NPD / EPD Management – from initiation to deployment
Key duties:
- Service Management:
- To assure Pack Fill Rate on highest possible levels but not lower than agreed KPI.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning on forecast changes to actively pre-empt stock-outs or over-stocks
- Collaboration with Connected Planning / Factories and Suppliers to assure product availability
- Collaborate with Customer Service to support with the visibility of potential service issues
- Review and root-cause service misses
- Track sell-through
2. Inventory Management:
- Assure the product stock availability within the agreed coverage
- Optimize inventory levels on quarterly basis according to accepted methodology
- Slow Moving and Obsolete stock management – reporting and collaboration with Sales / Marketing on depletion strategies.
3. Adherence to best practice and continuous improvement:
- Collaborate with Regional COE – to ensure constant knowledge extension and adherence to best practice
- Collaborate with Connected Planning – to assure seamless communication between Supply Chain functions incl. factories
- Assure proper system set-ups for best possible out-put
4. NPD / EPD Management:
- Holistically manage new or existing product implementation from the initiation to the deployment phase.
- Lead de-complexity projects
The experience we're looking for
- Master's degree, preferably in economics or technology
- Understanding of the FMCG industry
- Understanding of the processes and limitations of the supply chain
- Experience in data processing
- Good understanding of Planning Processes & Supply Chain Systems [SAP-APO, KINAXIS, OMP, JDA]
- Fluent English
- Good communication skills
