About the role
The role of a Maintenance Planner in SAP is to ensure every Asset has a clear and well-defined maintenance strategy to minimise breakdowns and corrective maintenance, thus improving asset reliability and repairs and maintenance cost reductions. Each Asset should have the relevant and required maintenance activities defined, planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance. The maintenance planner is expected to reference RPS (Reckitt Production System) methodology to support the definition and creation of routine maintenance strategies in SAP PM.
Your responsibilities
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling using ERP System (SAP PM)
- Development of maintenance strategy and calendar for factory assets (machines and facility)
- Creation of task list on SAP
- Work Order Management: creation and technical completion of work orders
- Maintenance KPI monitoring and reporting
- Defects Handling System ownership
- Collaborate with procurement and storeroom for timely spares availability
- Vendor and stakeholders’ management
- Budget and Cost Control: ensure maintenance execution happens within budgetary limits
The experience we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience (2 years out of which must be in a maintenance planning role) preferably in a FMCG company
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling using CMMS/ERP applications preferably SAP
- Team leadership/management experience
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Hands-on experience in maintenance and facilities management will be added advantage
