About the role
Lead, coordinate, and monitor continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, waste reduction, operational efficiency, and cost savings for the plant, while collaborating with different areas.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver the annual savings plan, ensuring each initiative contributes meaningful value to our operations.
- Keep clear documentation and steady follow‑up of ongoing projects, supporting visibility and smooth execution.
- Explore and shape new improvement ideas that help strengthen performance and open opportunities for future efficiencies.
- Manage and follow up on initiatives led by Production, Continuous Improvement, NPS Procurement, Engineering, and other teams that contribute savings for Xtrim.
- Calculate savings generated by Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Assess the technical and financial feasibility of proposed initiatives.
- Manage and maintain project documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Prepare the monthly Xtrim savings report and act as Workstream Champion.
- Support the generation of new savings ideas, including facilitating brainstorming sessions.
The experience we're looking for
- Background in Industrial or Chemical Engineering preferred, but not mandatory. We value transferable skills and diverse academic paths.
- Data analysis and KPI tracking skills, including interpretation of operational metrics.
- English proficiency for conversations, presentations across LATAM, and regional follow‑up.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, dashboards, analysis).
- Project management knowledge, including timelines, scoping and documentation.
- Experience in roles such as Project Assistant, Junior Analyst, or administrative/technical roles related to operations or project coordination.
- Understanding of operational processes and their impact on quality, efficiency, and performance.
- Familiarity with internal operational workflows and cross‑functional team interaction.
- Awareness of risk assessment, including identifying issues and proposing preventive actions.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (desirable).
- Courses or certifications in Project Management or Lean Manufacturing (desirable).
- Plus: Familiarity with Minitab or similar statistical tools.
