Your responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a brand in the market.
  • Develop and execute the Channel and 4Ps strategy for the portfolio identifying KPIs and activation plans by store format.
  • Work with brand team to develop and execute consumer and trade strategy plans for the portfolio.
  • Lead the S&OP process for your portfolio with particular focus on the customer/channel inputs, including tracking of 4Ps by store format, outlook for next 12 months and gap filling initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate to the sales team to ensure Go-To-Market excellence.
  • Work with brand team to execute and “amplify” with scale and excellence NPD and BDI plans in line with guidelines / toolkits.
  • Conducts detailed Financial Modelling and ROI analysis to support 4P strategy/implementation.
  • Support the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements.
  • Work with category strategy team to identify key shopper insights and leverage them into Brand Plan
  • Make recommendations for adapting Area and global innovation and leverage BDIs and category strategies for the New Zealand market.
  • Execute agreed product launches and further contribute by delivering local BDIs. Ensure all customer requirements are met to ensure effective sell-in of NPD such as GS1, Samples, Price Lists and Trade Presenters.
  • Work with the ANZ media team for media planning and management of effective media plans.
  • Develop below the line campaigns including POS materials/ consumer promotions and customer campaigns including agency management.
  • Accountable for the brand and trade marketing budget for the category.

The experience we're looking for

  • Functional experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing and category management essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree or experience deemed equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG essential
  • Proven track record / sales experience with key local retailers
  • Experience of influencing and engaging senior management in own and customer organisations
  • Proven track record of marketing leadership, with a skill for managing multiple brands and nurturing, leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Marketing management experience, notably within a large product category
  • Expertise in developing compelling brand and category strategies that connect with consumers
  • Strong analytical mind, able to extract meaningful insights from complex data
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment, adept at juggling multiple projects with grace
