About the role

Brand Manager - Medical Marketing plays a pivotal role in bridging clinical expertise and marketing strategy. This position is responsible for developing impactful medical marketing materials, training programs, and event management initiatives that drive brand growth, support the sales force and maintain market competitiveness. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external partners to ensure the successful communication of key brand messages and clinical information.

Your responsibilities

1. Development of Detailing Materials
- Align on key messages with stakeholders. - Design promotional and educational materials in accordance with the Brand Book and Brand Guidelines. - Coordinate and secure approvals from relevant leaders (Head of OTC, Marketing Director).
2. Training & Development
- Conduct monthly training sessions (face-to-face/online) for medical and OTC representatives, including: - Classroom training and knowledge assessments. - Role-playing exercises. - In-field coaching. - Lectures by invited KOLs. - Develop new training curricula/programs for new joiners, medical reps, and OTC reps, focusing on detailing, presenting, and objection handling.
3. Symposium & KOL Engagement
- Collaborate with speakers to discuss symposium topics, content, and key messages. - Provide KOLs with master slide decks, clinical papers, FAQs, and objection-handling materials. - Ensure KOLs are well-versed in product indications, posology, adverse events, drug interactions, and contraindications. - Attend medical symposiums/lecture tours to monitor message delivery and gather feedback.
4. Clinical Support for Product Enlisting
- Provide clinical information to support product listing in hospitals. - Share necessary clinical data with key doctors and pharmacists.
5. Event & Speaker Management
- Manage KOL relationships and monitor speaker performance. - Collect audience feedback and evaluate message reception and confidence to prescribe. - Measure event effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
6. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Observe and gather information on competitor activities, communications, and market trends. - Report market intelligence and develop contingency plans to counter competitors.
7. Sales Support Materials
- Develop materials (e.g., roll-ups, reminders) to support the sales team in effectively communicating key brand messages.
8. Meeting & Presentation Preparation
- Prepare slides and materials for key meetings, including ICR (bi-monthly), SCAM (quarterly), PLAN (yearly), business reviews, and monthly market intelligence updates.

The experience we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field.
2. Experience in medical marketing, pharmaceutical sales, or related roles.
3. Proficiency in digesting clinical papers, simplifying key points, and developing materials to promote brand benefits.
4. Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
5. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
6. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
