About the role
You will be responsible for planning the demand for all Nutrition brands within a set of European markets and contributing to the regional IBP process. You will be accountable for maximising forecasting accuracy for your markets through an aligned bottom-up forecast and driving improvements to key metrics and processes. You will collaborate and partner with key Nutrition commercial contacts from Sales, Marketing and Finance to guarantee the most accurate consensus demand plan and minimise any demand-driven supply and inventory impact.
Your responsibilities
-Develop and manage the 24-month rolling bottom-up forecast for all Nutrition SKUs for a set of European markets by analysing historical sell-in/sell-out data and market trends.
-Use statistical modelling and history cleansing to maintain accurate base forecasts.
-Collaborate closely with commercial teams in the local markets to overlay additional building blocks and assumptions onto the base forecasts and ensure cross-functional alignment on the consensus demand plan each month.
-Contribute to the success of the regional IBP cycle by owning and leading discussions in local Forecast Review Meetings and Demand Reviews for the European markets in your scope. Bring relevant insights and make proactive recommendations and adjustments to the forecasts where necessary to deliver business results.
-Review key forecast accuracy metrics on a monthly basis, conduct a root cause analysis and drive the corrective actions necessary to improve metrics and hit KPI targets.
-Effectively plan any NPIs and product changes in close collaboration with NPI project teams, local market teams and factories, ensuring demand is reflected correctly in the system in a timely manner.
-Work closely with the regional Supply Planners on inventory optimisation by balancing supply and demand to eliminate any out-of-stock risks and prevent overstock situations.
-Manage demand planning masterdata parameters in the system to ensure accurate set up is maintained for all SKUs.
-Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the team so we can build best-in-class demand planning processes for the Europe region.
The experience we're looking for
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience in supply chain planning and advanced data analysis
-Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management and market analytics
-Driven by a passion for forecast accuracy and an understanding of complex supply chains with strong attention to detail
-Demonstrated experience in an IBP/S&OP environment is highly desirable.
-Skilled in managing a diverse set of data and using it to make informed decisions
-Able to collaborate across functions and influence without authority
-Adept at forging strong relationships and building effective partnerships
-Committed to continuous improvement and excellence in business processe
-Proficiency in demand planning software (Kinaxis RapidResponse DP is desirable) and advanced Excel skills
-A pro-active approach and ability to handle ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing business needs
-Occasional travel to other European market offices will be required (a few times a year)Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Fluency in French is desirable but not required.
