About the role
The Data Steward is responsible Data quality, for the creation, maintenance and obsoletion of objects within SAP. They will govern the data, to make sure continuity through all objects and processes for daily business. They will engage with different stakeholders to co-ordinate activities of different projects of data from start to end. They will be self-managed to deliver in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment. They will follow Global standards set out by the ERP and DNA teams.
Your responsibilities
• Knowledge transfer - provide business process understanding and knowledge related to the relevant functional area, to ensure the business takes on board the key requirements and risks
- Cross factory knowledge transfer
• Data – ensure you know what is in the remit of responsibilities of the Data Stewardship role with in SAP, and segregation of duty boundaries.
• Maintaining BOMs in SAP while confirming compliance with TDS quality system ( Day to Day activity).
• Data Quality – ensure that constant standards are held within SAP, close monitoring/reporting on the system to make sure data integrity is held.
• Co-ordinating – ensure that all stakeholders are aware of any new projects that are in development, and that assistance will be needed so they can be completed.
• Cross Functional Collaboration– understand and communicate the end-to-end process, for NPD/EPD within the factory operations including planning, and ensure these guidelines are adhered to, so that no object is left behind.
• Trouble shooting – understand SAP over all objects from other stakeholders, so that issues can be fixed.
• ERP and Global teams – ensure that you are up to date with any enhancements coming through the system. Ability to adapt to change, ensuring that best practices and policies are adhered too.
• SOPs – update existing local work instructions to map to new local SOPs
• Adapting – Data Stewards role is a constantly moving so be open to change management.
• Drawing on guidance from the CoE team, identify and size the benefits the site could achieve, and support the site team to plan for how they will be delivered and tracked.
• Establishing data analytics capabilities from factory standpoint to evaluate material creation and enrichment progress.
The experience we're looking for
- Business analysis experience is ideal but not critical – an analytical approach and being open-minded about change are as important
- Demonstrate good communication and influencing skills both verbally and written
- Possess general awareness of the processes operated across the site, and specific detailed knowledge of their functional area
- Experience in SAP and MDG.
- This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.

• Determined and resilient to identify resolutions to issues within own span of control

US salary ranges
USD $78,000.00 - $116,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
