About the role

The Facilities Electrician is responsible for providing multi-craft (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) support to the facilities and facilities support equipment including operating, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairs.  Must have electrical certification and knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.

 

 

Weekend Day - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:15 am to 7:30 pm
Weekend Overnight - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:15 pm to 7:30 am

 

 

Starting pay: $37/hour 

Your responsibilities

  • Provides facilities mechanical, electrical and controls support (e.g., troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs for air handling, dryers, boilers, HVAC, pumps, lighting, plumping).
  • Maintain facilities operation equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following procedures, diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Perform regular facility inspections of equipment and make immediate or scheduled repairs.
  • Coordinates with production departments to deconflict necessary repair or preventative maintenance (PM) down windows.

The experience we're looking for

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must have electrical certification, experience and knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment.
  • Technical knowledge of facilities and facilities support equipment (e.g., boilers, air compressors, dryers, HVAC, pneumatic/hydraulic pumps, lighting, roofs, plumbing)
  • Strong facilities mechanical, electrical and reliability background is desired. 
  • Proficient with computers and data processing.
  • Able to send and receive e-mail in a timely and effective manner.
  • Must be able to perform duties with minimal, to no direct supervision.
  • Strives for Continuous Learning to keep skills up to date.
  • Stand and walk frequently throughout shift.
  • Lift up to 50lbs frequently.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning in performance of duties.
