About the role

Our Hillsborough, New Jersey location Manufactures Lysol Products. For more than a century, Lysol has been protecting families from illness-causing germs. We believe there is nothing more important than keeping our loved ones safe and healthy.

 


The shift available is for:
Weekend Day - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:15 am to 7:30 pm
Weekend Overnight - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:30 pm to 7:15 am

 

 

Starting pay: $33/hour 

Your responsibilities

  • Provides Packaging technical support to all Packaging departments as needed including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeover and repair of packaging line equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and programs PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers), electro-mechanical sensors and controllers.
  • Maintains, orders, and troubleshoots electrical/electronic parts and equipment for all departments.
  • Develops and improves Preventative Maintenance Programs from vendor manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of typical facility and manufacturing support systems, including steam, hot water, compressed air and refrigeration systems is required.
  • Reads and interprets electrical schematics and be able to work safely with low and high voltage circuits.

The experience we're looking for

  • High School Diploma required
  • Relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment preferred.
  • Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred.
  • Troubleshooting capabilities such as PLC 5, SLC 500, Control Logix (5K, PLC 5000, Studio 5000) is required.
  • Computer Knowledge required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English is required
  • Stand and walk frequently throughout shift.
  • Lift up to 50lbs frequently.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning in performance of duties.
