About the role
Your responsibilities
- Delivery of quality KPI targets including passing corporate audit scores, meeting QC release Turnaround Time (TAT), Right First Time (RFT), prevention of recalls, & management of on time Deviations, Change Controls, and CAPAs.
- Ensure all appropriate Plant operating procedures are reviewed and verified for effectiveness on a continuous basis via quality audits, GEMBA walks, and quality KPI reviews.
- Develop and implement data tracking systems to ensure plant objectives and actions continue to satisfy consumer needs and consumer satisfaction.
- Ensure robust batch record and QC review to support quality release and confirm products are fit for distribution.
- Responsible for plant quality systems such as ISO9001:2008, GMP, Corporate Audit key elements.
- Implement Global & North American quality policies and procedures.
- Responsible for QC laboratory staffing and oversight/performance incl Lab 5S, Lab Strategy, CAPEX.
- Provide quality oversight and leadership across all plant functions to ensure alignment and support, high standards being maintained, defects and non-conformances being identified and reported timely.
The experience we're looking for
- A minimum of 7 years experience in a consumer products environment with a BA or BS degree in the sciences or engineering area.

Proven track record of progressive responsiblity in quality and operations roles in a fast‑paced consumer products environment.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing quality processes
- Strategies leading managerial and professional technical personnel, coordinating execution of multiple projects, driving improvement across the site in plant standards & housekeeping, GMPs, cleanliness, routine quality checks, procedural adherence, Right first time.
- Background in managing microbiological OOS investigations and understanding hygienic design standards ie proper sloping, dead legs, clean design equipment, cleaning & sanitization protocols, etc.
- Experience using quality tools and quality systems such as: SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, Root-Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, LIMS, ISO 9001:2008, GMP, HACCP, and Auditing.
- Good grasp of quality controls and design elements of purified water and filtered air systems
- Ability to deal confidently and effectively with agents of governmental regulatory bodies as well as internal/external customers and suppliers.
