Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.
Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
Step into the role of Key Account Manager at Reckitt, where your mastery of relationship-building and strategic partnering with major national trade players will be fundamental in delivering products to consumers. In this dynamic position, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and realising joint business plans, balancing customer success with our own growth. You will report to the Head of Retail Belgium and will be responsible for determining the retailer strategy, building/increasing category knowledge and the negotiation and execution of retailer strategies.
Your responsibilities
- Development and implementation of the annual account plan
- Manage customer negotiations related to Reckitt's commercial strategy and the retailer's terms of trade
- Account Planning and Forecasting
- P&L responsibility. Achieving targets for Net Revenue, Gross Margin, 4Ps (Product, Placement, Price & Promotion) and Net Working Capital.
- Working closely with the Marketing and Trade Marketing team to generate as many sales as possible and optimize the shelf and promotions.
- Analysis of sales data (e.g. Nielsen) to provide insight into the current status of the 4Ps, specifically focused on promotional activities and the launch of new products
- Cross-functional collaboration with Supply Services to ensure accurate forecast and sufficient inventory for the customer
- Collaboration with the Marketing / Brand Activation team to optimize the execution and visibility of promotions
The experience we're looking for
- Fluent in English with either Dutch or French is mandatory. With all three being a plus.
- 4-6 years of experience in key account management with cross-functional experience with other departments in FMCG
- Experience with the Customer Management Process
- Must be able to demonstrate that you have strong analytical skills and enjoy making data analyses. Having the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and then apply these learnings is a must.
- Experience in Consumer Data platforms (Nielsen/IRI, Panel Data, enz.) will be a plus
- Strong oral/written communication skills and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong personal relationships and time management skills
