Sales

Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.

 

Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.

 

We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

Are you passionate about shaping the customer experience and influencing the journey of market-leading brands? As a Trade Marketing Trainee at Reckitt, you'll support strategies that directly impact the success in engaging shoppers. You'll partner with key customers using insights to inform their category strategy, whilst focusing on the fine details of the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place). In this position, you'll engage with a variety of teams to analyse trends and help create plans that resonate with customers and drive our brands to new heights. To be eligible for the role, you must be enrolled in a University based in the EU and be able to obtain an internship/university agreement.

Your responsibilities

  •  Daily Operations:
    • Track the performance of the BNL market (assortment, promotions, merchandising) and recommend adapted action plans.
    • Learn to adopt a “Category-First” approach, leveraging different category growth strategies to strengthen the plans of the brands.
    • Execute analysis to recommend the optimal promotional strategy.
    • Be responsible for KPI tracking (Promotions & Distribution).
    • Present a business case at the end of your internship.
    • Potentially Manage specific category & brand projects.
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    • Assist with weekly and daily performance reporting and identify discrepancies between internal data and market data.
    • Help prepare dashboards for market performance and promotional effectiveness.
    • Support monthly analysis on various marketing topics for the department (promotional strategy, distribution efficiency, category growth, etc.).

The experience we're looking for

  • Student at a business school with demonstrated autonomy and organizational skills.
  • Sensibility for FMCG processes.
  •  Eager to learn and result-oriented.
  • Disciplined with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Proficient in English.
