Leaving our local marketing teams to deliver on our regional goals in partnership with our Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for 2 motivated Assistant Brand Manager Trainees for our Selfcare brands (Nurofen, Strepsils, Gaviscon, ...) in Brussels
Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will contribute to the development and performance of the OTC portfolio by:
- Brand performance analysis: tracking sales evolution and market performance across different channels (e.g. pharmacies in Belgium, supermarkets & drugstores in the Netherlands) using market-specific databases (Nielsen & IQVIA)
- Campaign development & execution: assisting in the creation and roll-out of marketing campaigns, from promotional offers to digital activations, while ensuring strong alignment with brand objectives, close follow-up with regulatory and within deadlines.
- Regulatory collaboration: supporting close follow-up with our regulatory department and external authorities to defend claims, secure approvals, and enable the launch of new products or claims.
- Healthcare professional material development: developing and adapting educational and promotional content tailored to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to effectively communicate product benefits to further drive recommendation.
Project support: contributing to packaging, artwork, point-of-sales material and customer/consumer materials development to ensure consistency and compliance.
You will be part of an international and multicultural team, where diversity is very high both in terms of gender and in terms of nationality, and performance drives growth. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn the dynamics of OTC healthcare marketing, where consumer insights, medical rigor, and commercial excellence meet.
To be eligible for the role, you must be enrolled in a University based in the EU and be able to obtain an internship/university agreement.
The experience we're looking for
- Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Fluency in English. French or Dutch will be considered a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with creativity and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible thinker being able to operate in a changing environment and cope with complexity.
- Results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with eagerness to learn.
- Tenacious and resilient.
- Eager to learn.
- Strong interest in healthcare, consumer health, or OTC products is an advantage.
